The SAME God

I love this statement that the Queen of Sheba tells Solomon. The Queen of Sheba goes to test Solomon because she doesn’t believe all the works and wisdom that had been given to him from the Lord. The Queen of Sheba is left speechless and in awe of the ways Solomon had been using his gifts from the Lord in order to spread his glory. 

God made Solomon (a person like you and me) king over his chosen people… how cool. God trusted Solomon with his most prized possession on earth. I’m in awe of the way God chooses each and every one of us for a specific purpose to work for his good.

What is God making you king over today? In what ways is he asking you to step out and spread his glorious name? Is there something you feel like He is calling you to do that you have been fighting? Or maybe you are questioning your purpose entirely. 

Whatever you may be walking through today, just remember that we serve the same God. The same God who blessed Solomon with the gift of wisdom and leadership is the same God who is blessing your life everyday. The same God that called Solomon to be king over his people is the same God that is calling YOU to lead people to him. Step out in faith today knowing that the Lord has prepared you and made you for this moment.
